Supply of Man Power

Supply of Man Power

Supply of manpower in electrical works" refers to the provision of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labor for various electrical projects, ranging from new installations to maintenance and repair. This is a common practice in the electrical contracting industry, where specialized manpower agencies or electrical contractors themselves take on projects and deploy their teams.

Electricians (Licensed Wiremen/Supervisors): Highly skilled individuals with certifications and licenses (e.g., Wireman License, Supervisor License from the Electrical Licensing Board of Telangana). They perform wiring, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Electrical Technicians: Skilled in specific electrical tasks, equipment assembly, and basic maintenance.

Electrical Fitters: Involved in the mechanical aspects of electrical installations, such as fitting conduits, cable trays, and mounting equipment.

Cable Jointers: Specialized in joining and terminating electrical cables, especially for HT (High Tension) cables.

Linemen (for Overhead Lines): Skilled in erecting poles, towers, and stringing conductors for overhead transmission and distribution lines. This requires specific training for working at heights.

Testing Engineers/Technicians: For specialized testing of relays, transformers, switchgear, etc. (as discussed previously).

Supervisors/Foremen: Experienced individuals who oversee the work, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings/specifications. Often hold a Supervisor's Electrical License.

Unskilled Laborers: Assist with digging trenches, material handling, cleaning, and other support tasks.
